The Bomb Shelter was humbled during our opening exhibition with some of our favorite local graffiti artists Wil Rivera and Awoke. The opening exhibition took place November, 2019 during the Wynwood, Art Walk. The event was a huge success and was well received

The  exhibition showcased colorful mix media art works of icons such as Bruce Lee, Muhammad Ali and A2 D2. It also displayed acrylic paintings of fish and whales floating in space with astronauts.

The opening exhibition had a special treat from artists Wil Rivera and Awoke who painted live in the courtyard and 90’s hip hop music from DJ Lou.

Check out the photos from the event in the gallery below. Also, check out the art duo’s most recent graffiti mural painted during Art Basel at the Wynwood Boutique.

Stay tuned for our next art exhibition January 10, 2019, during the Wynwood Art Walk.
