CP1 Solo Exhibition at Bomb Shelter

The Bomb Shelter was proud to host a solo  exhibition for Miami Street Artist CP1. The exhibition took place September 6, 2019 in Wynwood, and was a success.

The CP1 solo exhibition showcased large bold spray paint paintings that come to life when looking at them. The crisp shadows and smooth blending, make the pieces pop off the panels.

CP1’s new series features bright colorful paintings of historic door knockers from Asia. The pieces are made of acrylic spray paint, on wood panel. The Bomb Shelter was honored to be the first gallery to debut this series.

The paintings from this series where inspired by photos in the Library of Congresses early photographic archives, and other 19th and early 20th century photo collections.

Check out the photos from the exhibition from the artist Miami New Times dubbed Miamiʼs most progressive, urban artist.

Stay tuned for our November exhibition with Miami graffiti artists Wil Rivera and Awoke.
