COMMUNIST PROPOGANDA FROM ARTIST LORD BYRON

Bomb Shelter is proud to show off our new store sign, by local Miami artist Lord Byron. Lord Byron is a Miami based artist who uses an Old English font style in his work. He got his technique from studying calligraphy and working in the auto painting industry. His style is unique and we thought he was the perfect artist to paint our store sign.

The sign is intended to look like Communist currency. Both owners of Bomb Shelter share a similar story. They ended up in the United States because their families escaped death and persecution from Communist regimes. Pete’s family fled the Stalin regime of the Soviet Union and Rob’s family escaped the Castro regime of Cuba. And ironically, Lord Byron’s family escaped the Communist Sandinista National Liberation Front of Nicaragua.

If you are in the Wynwood area stop by to check it out. While your there, take a tour of our large outdoor gallery that features over 20 street and graffiti artists from around the globe. Located at 30 NW 34 St., Miami.

Check out the photos of Lord Byrons work in the photo gallery below. This project was created with Loop and Kobra spray paints provided by Bomb Shelter.
